Thank you for your interest in Follow the Child Montessori School. Following, you will find general admissions information, tuition information and payment options.

There are two ways to submit an application. If paying by check, please fill out the Application Form and mail or drop it off at the office (during normal business hours) along with a check for the $75 application fee (non-refundable). If paying by credit card, you can apply online. You will be billed via e-mail.

Follow the Child Montessori School, Inc. admits students of any race, color, creed, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities made available to students at the school. Criteria and Standards
Sibling status (priority is given to siblings of children already enrolled)
Prior Montessori experience
Date the application is received
Potential for success in a Montessori environment
Applicant's behavior patterns, age appropriate behavior, and social skills
Indication of parent-school support
Parental support of Montessori principles

Application Process
To start the application process, please submit a completed Application Form (using one of the two methods above) with the $75 application fee. The application fee is non-refundable and not applied toward tuition. You should call the office to schedule a time to observe an age-appropriate classroom and meet with a member of the FCM administration team. You will also be contacted to arrange two meetings: a meeting between your child and a classroom teacher and also a parent meeting with the head of school.

Enrollment Contract and Deposit
Once your child is accepted, you will be notified by mail with a contract. Upon receiving the contract, you have 10 days to respond and accept or decline the position for your child. Return the signed Enrollment Contract along with payment of the tuition deposit (10%) and New Family Fee ($1,000), if applicable. The deposit and New Family Fee are non-refundable. The deposit is applied toward tuition.

Class Placement
We consider the child's personality, gender, age ratios, and the make-up of the existing classes to determine which class will best suit your child.
